The cure for autism is yet to be found, but luckily there are several treatments available for it. The relief that these treatments offer includes; lessened manifestations of symptoms, maximized learning, and improved social interactions. The popular autism treatments include behavior therapy, medication, speech-language therapy, lifestyle and dietary changes.

In the past, the lack of studies and understanding about autism puts the blame for development of the disorder to parents. After years of studies and observations, it has been found that the allegations of "bad parenting" are not true. Although the real cause of autism is yet to be discovered, several groups of experts suggested explanations and theories about the different factors that influence its development.
